Spring LSD Conference

A Spring LSD Conference for LSD Committee Members will take place Friday June 1st and Saturday June 2nd, 2007. The event will be held at Upper Kingsclear Community Centre, 22 Mazerolle Settlement Road, Upper Kingsclear.

The conference will get under way Friday evening with a registration/meet and greet from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a presentation on Improving the Delivery of Planning Services in NB by Gary Mersereau of the Sustainable Planning Branch of the Department of Environment. Saturday's session will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Topics for the day will be Recycling, Programs and Services, Pandemic Influenza Planning, and Rural Communities.

Hi Jeff,
Looks good. I'm not a seasoned "blogger" as I've only used it on a couple of occasions; once to get information about a friend who was terminally ill and secondly to communicate with friends travellling around the world. The challenge will be to get folks to try it out! brenda

Looks like a neet idea. I am like Brenda my experiance as ablogger is limited. The idea of bringing in other community groups is good. See you all at the meeting Tuesday night Bob J

I don't expect this would be the main source of information, but one form of communication. I think as long as we are posting what is going on, coming up, etc, it will be a way to make people aware - at least those that want to use this format. The comments section is valuable to receive input back to us - could be concerns, issues that need to be addressed, etc.
